Introducing the Nanovax Podcast

October 23, 2024 – Ames, Iowa – The Nanovaccine Institute is pleased to announce the Nanovax Podcast, a new podcast series sharing the latest research and advancements in nanoparticle-based vaccines and therapies for human and animal health. This monthly podcast will interview Institute members and special guests whose work focuses on a transdisciplinary approach to transform the design and manufacturing of vaccines and therapeutics that integrates nanotechnology, materials science, immunology, oncology, neuroscience, microbiology, clinical science, and social science.

The hosts for the first season of the podcast include Balaji Narsimhan, Director, Nanovaccine Institute, Anson Marston Distinguished Professor & Vlasta Klima Balloun Faculty Chair; Chemical & Biological Engineering at Iowa State University and Mike Roof, Chief Technology Officer, Vaccines, Diagnostics, and Immunotherapeutics Bioscience Platform at Iowa State University. Focus areas for this season include respiratory diseases within human and animals, as well as topics in antimicrobial resistance.
