Research interests: PathoVacs was founded by Dr. Manohar John.  Dr. John obtained his medical degree in India and completed doctoral studies in Microbiology & Molecular Biology in the United States.  Following post doctoral fellowship training, and serving on faculties of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Department of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. John transitioned to industry, where he functioned as scientific director and led biomarker discovery efforts of a publicly traded biotechnology company.  Dr. John has received numerous state and federal research grants for diverse vaccine discovery projects, and holds patents for discoveries in the areas of both infectious diseases and cancer.
