Research interest: We design nanomaterials that interact with light and display unique properties. These nanomaterials can be activated with various stimuli such as light, heat, pH etc. and their properties can be leveraged for bioimaging and therapies across many disease models including cancer, neurodegenerative disease, and infection.
Research terms: blood brain barrier, advanced biomaterials, cancer, mucosal drug delivery, nanoparticles, nanophotonics, organoids, therapeutics, diagnostics, imaging
Current projects:
- Immunoimaging and response to immunotherapies
- Metabolic imaging with Raman spectroscopy
- Combinatorial treatments in tumor models and beyond
- Point-of-care biodiagnostics
